We’ll help you think through your project so that your home is what you want and need, now, and long after you have settled in.

Initial Consultation
• We will meet at a potential building site to discuss and envision how your home may look upon completion.
• The next step will be discovering your building objectives, and the budget that you are working within.
• Once we’ve established a general understanding of the project, our extensive construction checklist will help us ensure that we begin with a clear road map to the home of your dreams.
Design and Materials Selection
• What are those attributes that your home must have? How does your new home need to serve you? Is your home a sanctuary of retreat, a place to welcome and entertain guests, or both? In this phase, the exact home plan that suites you, and the goals of the project, will be determined.
• Whether you decide to build your home on a property within one of our new communities, or a building site that you’ve already chosen, we will make sure that your site and home construction are a perfect match.
• We never cut corners. We use materials that you will be proud to have in your home for many years to come. We will work together to choose just the right materials and design attributes.
• At this time, we’ll establish pricing, and construction agreements will be signed.
Pre-Construction & Construction
• Nelson Companies will begin to put the pieces in place to get your project underway. An outline of the general schedule and communication expectations will be drawn up, and a start date will be established.
• We will collaborate with our partners in the trade, and ensure that everyone involved is engaged and working in concert.
• As your builder, we will closely manage the entire project and ensure each step remains on track, all while staying in close communication with you.
Handing Over the Keys
• We’ll walk through your new home with you and ensure that your questions are answered, and that you are delighted with your new home.
• Our concern for our customers does not end when we turn the keys over to you. Our guarantee helps you rest assured that your home is built right, with a warranty that gives you security for up to a decade!
• We will stay in touch with you through regular newsletters to keep you informed with tips, pointers, and reminders regarding the care of your new home.
